Please also be aware of the entry requirements to Austria.
Please note that the measures are being updated continuously.
Additional requirements, such as COVID-19 tests or vaccinations (if necessary), are not included in the conference fee.

The registration fee includes:
- Confirmation of payment
- Admission to all scientific sessions
- Conference material (conference bag, badge, etc.)
- Coffee breaks and lunches
- Admission to social events
- EARIE membership for 2023 (calendar year)

Registration for speakers
Speakers must register by 2 June 2022, otherwise their paper will not be included in the final programme. If you are unable to attend EARIE 2022 Vienna, but a co-author is able to present the paper, please inform the conference organizers by 2 June 2022 by sending an e-mail to earie2022@univie.ac.at.
When registering online you must provide your paper ID in Step 3. The paper ID can be found on the acceptance letter you received by David Genesove or directly on your Conference Maker profile page.
Registration for regular participants and accompanying persons
Registration to the conference through the online registration system will be possible until Sunday 07 August 2022. Thereafter, there is the possibility to register on-site.
Registration for Students
If you are registering as a student, please upload a scanned confirmation of enrolment (e.g. a student certificate or a signed letter by your supervisor) during the online registration in Step 1.
Payment
We offer the following method of payment:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, JCB, Maestro)
Following the successful payment, you will receive an e-mail with a registration confirmation, which will include detailed information about your payment. Your registration is now complete. If you decline the payment afterwards or if you request a refund, your registration to the conference will be cancelled.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your registration in writing by sending an e-mail to the local organizers at congress@univie.ac.at. You will receive a confirmation of cancellation in reply.
- Cancellations received by or on 1 July 2022 (11:59 CET) will be refunded, minus a EUR 50 cancellation fee.
- For cancellations received after 1 July 2022 (11:59 CET) and by or on 1 August 2022 (11:59 CET), 50 % of the total amount paid will be refunded, minus a EUR 50 cancellation fee.
- Any cancellations received after 1 August 2022 (11:59 CET) or no-shows will be non-refundable.
- We also cannot reimburse you in case you are not allowed to enter Austria or the University of Vienna due to Covid 19 restrictions. Please note the entry requirements to Austria and the rules for holding events at the University of Vienna.
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to the Conference and Event Management service unit of the University of Vienna (e-mail: congress@univie.ac.at).
Cancellation insurance for congress participants
In order to avoid annoyance and financial disadvantages, we recommend that you take out a congress cancellation insurance with Europäische Reiseversichung.

Neither the local organising committee of the 49th annual conference of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE), nor the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE), nor the University of Vienna, nor any other third parties involved in the organisation of EARIE 2022 Vienna, provide insurance. The parties listed above do not accept liability for losses of whatever nature incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor for loss of or damage to their luggage and/or personal belongings at the conference venue. Furthermore, the parties listed above do not take responsibility for any loss, accident, damage or illness that might occur during the conference or in the course of travel to or from the event site. Please check the validity of your own travel and/or health insurance to ensure that you are fully covered throughout your stay in Vienna.
Registration Software
The Conference and Event Management service unit processes the registration data by means of a software by the company UNGERBOECK SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL GMBH, Kaiserstraße 72, 76133 Karlsruhe, Germany (processing agreement according to article 28 of the GDPR).
